No. 6 in the Jukebox Series is an early Peanut Butter Wolf production alongside original MC teammate, Charizma. A tribute to Charizma and their early days before Charizma was tragically shot dead in an attempted mugging on December 16, 1993. The cover is an homage to the Martinelli's Apple Juice bottle, Charizma's go to refreshment. All songs recorded at The Dump (San Jose) mixed by Charizma & Peanut Butter Wolf. Well here's another installment of funk/hip-hop 45's from Peanut Butter Wolf's Jukebox 45 Series. This particular record is No. 9 in the series and it's a couple tracks from the Indianapolis funk band, The Highlighters. This track was recorded in 1969, and is a re-issue of the original funk 45 classic. "Poppin' Popcorn" was their answer to James Brown's, "Mother Popcorn (You Got To Have a Mother For Me)" and the"The Funky 16 Corners" is shout out to the funky 16 corners that made up the hippest neighborhood in Indianapolis, IN. This another 45 from the 'Jukebox 45' series by the now famous DJ/producer, A-Trak. This was 45 No. 3 in the series and was recorded before A-Trak had even turned age 18. He was already a world champion battle DJ, but has gone on to not only own his own record label, Fools Gold, but has been Kanye West's touring DJ and has his own group with DJ Armand Van Helden, Duck Sauce.
